如是古老的希臘悲劇,在長達數千年的譯寫流傳過程中自然會繁衍許多版本。
有精簡版,有詳盡版。
有古英文版,有現代英文版。
我無力直接檢閱希臘原典,只能信任卡謬所閱讀的版本。
但文本的閱讀本就是一種“再創作”的過程。
薛希弗斯的神話,亦在卡謬洞見深銳的靈思觀照下,開掘出驚人的內藴。
我個人格外欣賞：卡謬獨出眾流的驚人視域,如何為伊底帕斯飽經風霜的暮年身影,開展了如是的詮釋深度。
這正是他同樣施之於薛希弗斯的魔法。
作為薛希弗斯命運的巨石,同樣是仰賴卡謬妙筆生花的詮釋進路,才開掘了原始版本的敘事策略所無法企及的悲劇深度。
