評:文字的力量~why  "change your words", then "change your world" being possible? ...........

當片中偶然行經而過的神祕女子,俯身翻轉乞丐的紙板,而後將“I am blind ,please help”改寫為“It's a beautiful day and I can't see it.”

What did you do to my sign?”

I wrote the same ,but in different words.”

"Nothing is so powerful as an insight into human nature... what compulsions drive a man, what instincts dominate his action... if you know these things about a man you can touch him at the core of his being."

why  "change your words",
then "change your world" being possible?

當片中偶然行經而過的神秘女子,俯身翻轉乞丐的紙板,而後將“I am blind ,please help”改寫為“It's a beautiful day and I can't see it.”

前者只冰冷地說出所見 ;
海德格所云的世界,就具現在片中一派天真爛漫中流露著事無關己微笑之年輕人的嘴角;

'Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it.'

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: 'I am blind, please help.' There were only a few coins in the hat.
A man walked by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, 'Were you the one who changed my sign this morning ? What did you write?'
The man said, 'I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way..'
What he had written was: 'Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it.'
Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?
Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

It's a beautiful day but I can't see it

There was a blind person on a bench for asking some money for his needs.
He was saying "Please help me. I am a blind person". Unfortunately he was not able to collect enough money for his food.

One Intelligent person gave a little board with some texts to the blind person and said "Do not say anything but keep this board safely with you".

On that very day the blind person could collect more money than he ever thought.
Then What's on the board? It says  "It's a beautiful day but I can't see it "

:)
See how it changed the results by expressing the same idea in two different ways. I think we should practice that and apply it to our daily life too.

It's a good attitude a person should have.
